Swimming in Sihanoukville

I was swimming in Sihanoukville and the water was absolutely perfect, just the kind of temperature I love. I was in the water for hours, floating, doing hand stands, aimlessly paddling out… I felt like a kid again.

Every now and then I’d feel a surge of terror wondering what lies in these waters. I’d get paranoid and start to cautiously make my way back to the shore thinking in detail what I’d do if a shark came along.

Then I’d push the thought out of my mind, tell myself to relax and enjoy the moment, swim out again and peacefully float on the surface. As I was doing this something caught my eye so I pulled myself up and saw a large jellyfish slowly swimming 3 inches from my face.

I decided to read a book on the beach instead.
