Good Will Hunting

I felt sick enough tonight to finally sit down and watch an entire movie without being distracted by my computer (a rarity for me).

Although I’ve seen Good Will Hunting before, I was in the mood to watch it again and I’m so glad I did. It’s probably my most favorite movie.

It reinvigorates my love for psychology and counselling and inspires me to be a better person; to help people, to love, to connect, and to maybe one day still pursue my dream of becoming a psychologist.

I loved seeing the transformation of Matt Damon’s character through the fatherly guidance of Robin Williams. To watch their relationship unfold. To learn about love, the power of vulnerability, and the risk of opening yourself up to someone.

And how the movie ends so completely perfectly.

“…Just tell him sorry. I had to see about a girl.”
